Our Curl Services

  • Curl Session from $150-$210

    This service is for both new and current curly clients, and includes a dry curl cut, a wash using our curl-friendly products, diffuse and reshape. This service covers any style cut, from wolf cut to rezo cut and more. We ask for clients to come in with clean dry hair in it’s most natural state for this session. If you are new to your curls and need guidance, we have a wavy, curly or coily home care guide available for purchase in salon. Simply let your stylist know that you are new to embracing your curls and they can guide you.

  • Dry Curl Cut $70

    Dry curl cut without treatment or refreshing. This is recommended for curl trims, not restyles. Please come to your appointment with your hair pre-washed and styled as you would usually wear it, with the curls intact. This session is not recommended for first time curl clients.

  • Clippers & Curls $80

    This service is for those who want a clipper cut or fade while retaining their curls on the top. Kolio is based at our Avondale salon, and is a trained and qualified barber, hair stylist and curl specialist. This service includes a fade, scalp or curl treatment and wash, diffuse and a UKS curl cut. If you would also like curl education then please select "curl consultation" for homecare advice and curl lessons to better care for your curls at home.

  • Curl Consultation $40

    For curl advice, product recommendations and help with your home-care routine, you can book in for a curl consultation where our curl specialists can analyse your hair in person and guide you with curl lessons to get the best curl results. Great for those who are ready to embrace their curls

  • Curl Refresh $80-$130

    This service includes a wash using our curl-friendly products, and diffuse blow dry for natural curls. Please be advised that it is $40 per extra half hour if more time is needed to detangle, or hair length and thickness takes longer to diffuse. Please note that this service does not include a curl cut.

  • Curl-lights $180-$220

    Curl highlights are designed to accentuate your best curls by adding dimension to your colour. A great way to enhance your best curls. Full head and Half head of curl highlights are available. This price includes a toner. Please pop into our salon for an allergy test within 48 hrs prior to your appointment

  • The Sturly Cut $210-$270

    If you are wanting a cut that you can wear both curly or straight then the Sturly cut is for you! This cut was especially created by our head curl trainer to cater to those who like to wear their hair both curly and straight,. This unique cut is only offered at UKS! This service includes a thorough consultation, a wash using our curl-friendly products, and a Sturly cut and blowdry. Please come to your appointment with your natural curl texture and minimal product. Select the length you wish to have your hair cut to. Please be advised that this service will not include thinning or texturising. Best recommended for Wavy- Curly hair types.

  • We are a Fanola-supported salon that offers a variety of different colour services, from balayage and highlights to traditional colours and beautiful blondes. If you are unsure what to select when booking in then please contact us for guidance or give our salons a call and our team can guide you. Please be advise that we require allergy tests for all new clients. Please see our T&Cs for more info around this.

  • For those who do not wear their hair naturally curly or have minimal texture in their hair, we offer traditional hairdressing services such as standard trim, restyle cuts, and also pamper packages which include a cut as well as a treatment, blow-dry and straighten/ curl if you prefer.

  • We offer blowdrys, heat straightening or curling, and also upstyles for bridal or formal occasions, for all hair types

  • Braids are a great way to wear your hair in a style while protecting your natural textures from environmental damage. We offer cornrows, braids with extensions and single braids.

  • For special occasions we offer make-up services for clients who wish to have everything done at once for special occasions. Please contact us to book in, as our make-up artists are available for special requests.

  • Treatments are important when it comes to haircare, and so we offer a variety of different treatments that cater to the needs of everyone. If you are unsure of what to select, then contact us or call one of our salons so that we can help guide you.

  • We offer Keratin Smoothing Treatments which are a great, semi-permanent option to reduce volume, thickness and frizz if you are not quite ready to go naturally curly, but also don’t want to commit to permanent straightening either. Keratin Smoothing Treatment lasts up to 6 months, reduces frizz and volume and enhances smoothness and shine

  • For those who suffer from scalp conditions and irritation, this service is for you. Book in online for more info

  • For those who want more texture and curls, book in online for a perm consultation and we can come up with a perm service that’s right for you. No more frizzy perms!
